Overwhelmed by services

You will have a lot of services enabled over the course of your internet presence. All this stuff can easily become overwhelming. The easiest thing to do is create a schedule and a disciplined list of tasks. I'm going to work on creating a practical tutorial on this process this week. I hope you'll have time to review it when I post.

Untweeps

Twitter has a lot of dead accounts. Some people want to dump following people that don't tweet. Although if they don't tweet, how annoying can they really be? But, if you want to dump Twitter users that are sloth to tweet, just check out unTweeps, though it's not without its startup bugs.

Which URL shortener creates the shortest URL? Creating an unabridged list of URL shortener services is virtually impossible. These are a hand full of free services publicly available.

P[r]eserve your brand in social media

The easiest way to protect your brand is to immediately reserve your preferred username on all social media websites, just in case you decide to use that space in the future. Few things are as frustrating as preparing to build communication in a new social media, only to find someone is squatting on your brand or username. Remedies are often simply unavailable.
